The SKY Hospital & Research Centre Pvt. Ltd has been established not by choice but by necessity and prevailing situation. The increasing number of diseases related to heart in Manipur motivated Manipur's first Cardiologist with MD (GIM); DM (AIIMS); MRCP (UK) and FRCP (London), Dr. Lairikyengbam Shyamkishore Singh, who practiced in the UK for almost 16 years, to establish a full-fledged Heart Hospital in his home state which benefits not only the people of Manipur but also the neighboring North Eastern States of India and South East Asian Countries.
